The staff were very friendly despite the large language barrier (ignorance on our part not theirs). The check in times were useful also.   I have to say I was a bit nervous staying here after reading a lot of bad reviews but as most of Florence was booked out- we went ahead with it. I dont understand any of the bad reviews- the room was so clean- there was a mini bar, the street is so safe, there was no noise from bathroom plumbing and the lady running the place- is so helpful and fr... vad folk säger » iendly. There is a laundromat downstairs- so close to every attraction! - We really enjoyed staying in Locabndo Gallo. The staff was excellent. They are extremely friendly. They gave us very good suggestions for places to visit and dine. You should definitely follow their suggestions. The hotel is also located on a very convenient place, it is just 15 min walk form main train station and maybe 10-15 min walk from touristic places. The room is like you can see from the pics.

  Location - close to main attractions of Florence. Very friendly staff. All needed facilities. Big room. Make sure you notify the staff about parking reservation if you travel by car! Florence centre is very complicated for driving and doesn't have free parking places for non-residents.   We were impressed by maps and useful information of the city given after checking in at the hotel by a hotel staff. The hotel is few steps of walk to Duomo. To our knowledge, there aren't many public toilets available in Florence. So, we found it very convenient to go back and forth between the hotel and tourist attractions during the day in case... vad folk säger » that we had to use toilet without waiting in the long line. Even though the breakfast isn't included, the unlimited amount of drinking water and cup - We were presently surprised to discover that there is a little kirchen in our room so we were able to prepare our favorite hot instant comfort food! We can be adventurous with our food but having the freedom to be just lazy and not go out to eat is also welcome to weary teavellers :-) Our room was charming! Bathroom linens were elegantly bunched together with silk crimson ribbons on top of our beds :-) Coffee is dispensed in wide array of choices in a vendo but mind you, they are not instant co
