  The staff at the hotel was terrific. I made 2 new friends, Riccardo and Denisa. They went and beyond to help me with my questions re. FLORENCE, bus routes, places to eat, booking tickets to train etc. The location is terrific and the bus stop is right across.   It was a great stay in Hotel Genzianella. The staff is really polite and all of them speak english. We checked in on friday 8th november. They gave us a city map, explain how to find all the sights, where to eat local tasty food, but not in the tourist area. Also the hotel is 24/7. It is 20 minutes far away from the station and 10 minutes from Duo... vad folk säger » mo. Location is great. The hotel is located on the 3rd and 4th flor but there is elevator. I totally recommend this hotel. - We only stayed for one night, so I can't really offer a great review...but our room was clean, large and comfortable, the man at reception was very friendly and helpful, WiFi was free and worked okay, and the location is great. Although we didn't use them, the common room and dining area looked nice too!

  Hotel Elite is a quaint pension house, very conveniently-located about a three-minute walk from the Sta. Maria Novella train station. Around the other corner is the Piazza Sta. Maria Novella. Staff Nardia was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room is clean and has it's old rustic charm. Nardia marked on tourist map where to visit and how to reach there. She called it "magical map" and truly it was. Although we have to place our luggage to another hotel nearby the next day after check-out, this didn't create any inconvenient as that hotel is nearer to train station.

  Location was quite close to Santa Maria Novella station and it is near to every attractions in Florence. You only have to walk for about 10-15 minutes to the main Duomo. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a complete information about Florence.
