Our room was large, elegantly decorated to reflect the Renaissance period, including a beautifully painted and lighted ceiling, and filled with antiques and marble tiling. We felt very luxurious! Bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. We were within easy walking distance of the Duomo and other major sights and restaurants. Staff was extremely helpful and nice, and breakfast was luxurious. On busy street but the good windows blocked out the noise. Definitely would stay here agai.
alla recensioner » This B&B is in a renovated Terrace Mansion on the 1st Floor up the stairs. the rooms are nice with marble floors, cable TV. best time to have a shower is early morning or late afternoon/evening as hot water can run out during checkout times! its a nice place to stay though as just a short walk to the big churches and the Uffizi gallery. Make sure you ring in advance before you arrive so the owner can meet you there with the key - we had to wait for him to arrive for 15 mins to let us in. It was a brilliant breakfast. The rooms are quiet and big. The bathroom was similar to a bathroom in top notch five star hotel. The landlord explained everything carefully, told us where to park our car for free and even gave us a lift to the football game of Fiorentina since he is a fan of this squadra. He was unbelievably kind. It was a tremendous stay. I would definitely recommend this B&B. The room we stayed was spacious and comfortable. It is close to the central station, and excellent location. Loads of space to move about and store all your stuff. Situated fairly close to all the bars, shops and places of interest it was a good base. Lasti, at breakfast, was a charm making a super omelette each day. Good to have use of a computer for internet access. Location. Can't think of a thing. the two rooms on the street side can be quite noisy at night, especially on weekends as its right in the center of town ( lots of sirens and party people walking around ) the room next to the dining room would probably be better!. Water heater broke down during our stay. Did not have warm shower during one night. The main bed was okay but not amazing, the spare bed was great. Description says complimentary tea and coffee but only a kettle in the room; no cups, spoons, milk, tea or coffee. There were some teabags in the breakfast area but no choice. Directions a bit hard to find and had to wait for owner to let us in; thank goodness it wasn't raining. Breakfast, beds.
