At first we were disappointed by the location, but then it turned into the advantage: absolutely awe-inspiring place around, the little town and the church up the hill with gorgeous panoramic view on the Como Lake....For those who are looking for a charming, calm and romantic place, for those who are inspired...) 2. The husband showed us around the town, showed an old winery and made a fireplace 8) And also croissants on breakfast wer - The host, Gino, was very helpful and warmhearted. The effort he's put into restoring the building through the years is something to appreciate. The house itself is very atmospheric, with interiors combining iron and wood that has a beautiful smell. Special thanks for the painting provided as a gift on our departure.

  We chose this hotel as we wanted somewhere to relax around the Lake and did not want to be among a throng of people. Apart from when the main road was closed due to an accident we got that. It was very peaceful. By one of the minor ferry stop off points and close to a major one it allowed a little boat hopping. We like a drink with our - Antonia and Samuel are great hosts. They will do everything to make your stay perfect. Very helpful on how to get around and what to see. Their restaurant serve great food for breakfast and dinner. Our room was very nice and clean and had a lakeview. It was great. The conveniences (ferry, bus) were just outside the door. Antonia and Samuel have a sign at the reception that says something like "you arrive a customer, but you leave as a friend" I would definitely go back without a doubt.

  The staff are very helpful and friendly. My room had a lovely view over Lake Como and the surrounding villages. As hotel rooms go, it is spacious and I had a lovely double bed. There is a bus stop a few metres away from the hotel, and you can buy tickets and get the timetable from the hotel bar. There is also parking space if you're travelling by ... vad folk säger » car. Breakfast is good, and served from 7.30am onward which is good for anyone who would like a lie in. This is the second time I have been to this ho - The staff was really nice and helped us navigate the confusing bus and ferry schedules. Luckily, there is a bus stop not too far down the road from the hotel. The view of the lake from our room was pretty spectacular and breakfast was delicious.
