  - very friendly staff, including the owners - everyone was extremely service-oriented - the pool was AMAZING; view of the rolling Tuscan hills was gorgeous - was a little hard to find but received excellent directions via the phone (when the Hotel called us to ask if we were ok making our way there!) The view is breath-taking.... everyone is friendly, the room we - Overall, very upscale hotel under new ownership (one year). Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, and new upscale restaurant. Chef Guido is outstanding; meals were gourmet. Hotel is very well located for exploring Tuscany, Florence and Sienna. Highly recommend once you find the place.

  This is a fantastic place. The location is just outside Castellina in Chianti and the surrounding countryside is breath-taking. In the evening we would sit in the gardens and sip our wine. The staff is extremely friendly and everyone seems determined to make your stay as memorable as possible. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the atmosphere very homely. A lady at t - The place is absolutely very romantic and highly recommended to young couples or to all those who are fond of love with nature and peace. Many historical places are easy to reach - within driving distance which makes the time relaxing, lovely and lively :-). There are wonderful panoramic views in this area, very nice people and restaurants. Local Staff is very helpful. We got quite late to the hotel on the first day but the restaurant waited for us and cooked something even at 10 pm! Also we g
