  What a little gem ! Roberta and her mum were the perfect hosts. They were always on hands to answer any queries we had about getting out and about in Tuscany. The facilities were good - the fridge in the room was a godsend. Yes it may be a bit 'rustic' but it was very homely and we always felt very comfortable and at ease. The location was perfect... vad folk säger » - a very short, flat walk into the centre where you can find many restaurants and bars. Castellina is a great base for visiting other parts of Tuscan - A three minute walk into the village of Castellina provided a restaurants, shopping and wine outlets. A drive around Chianti vineyards is a must with quaint villages and lovely countrtside. Roberta ensured our stay was comfortable, restful and provided good local knowledge. The pool was great as it was hot in August. Rooms were comfortable and rustic.
