I would definitely request a room but the beach/pool as opposed to on top of the hill, but it depends what you prefer. We got a room for 6 people and we were 4--it was very comfortable. We can't wait to go back! - The room was close to the beach and restaurant. The gardens were beautifully maintained with pleasant paths to walk. The resort is ideal with families with young children.

  There are many places to choose from on Capo Vaticano (just south of Tropea). We're glad we stayed at this hotel. We had a fantastic sunset view of the Stromboli volcano from our balcony. Our apartment, while a little small with sloping ceilings on the edges, was clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was very nice. Catering mostly to Germans, the hotel is family-frie - If you are looking for relaxing and tranquill place for holiday L'arcobaleno is beautiful small resort with panoramic views over the sea and Stromboli vulcano at sunset. Swimming pool area very well kept - very very relaxing:)). Beaches around very good. Staff service excellent. I would love to visit Capo Vaticano again:)))) and highly recommend this place:)))

  Wonderful position just on the private beach, very clean and beautiful sea, friendly staff and hospitality. Perfect place for relaxation and health improving especially for handicapped people.   Very kind and helpful staff! We truly felt welcome. Excellent breakfast. Lovely surroundings with banana trees and palms etc. Peaceful. The beds had been changed, we slept well.   We loved the welcome we got on arrival. The staff were always helpful and friendly. All of the hotel guests were invited to an evening at the beach to eat and watch the sunset. The evening was really lovely and the waiters did some Calabrian dancing which was fun to watch. We were then taken back to the hotel after an excellent evening. We didn't have a car whilst staying there which I would probably recommend that you did have. The apartments are in a quite location away from all the main amenities with some great views back across the town.

The name "Seaview" is literally true and then some - we really had the south of Italy, the straight of Messina, then Sicily with Etna, the Eolian islands, and Stromboli right in front from our balcony!   The territory of the hotel is perfect and is well managed. The room we had in the bungalow was nice, airconditioning worked well. The beach was clean and wonderfully kept.

  We loved the view from our room! Just being able to walk out of our room and be on the beach or next to the pool was amazing! The Food was excellent 2 of the 4 nights we stayed and the staff was extremely helpful. We also enjoyed being able to have a few drinks on the patio by the pool while some of the staff gathered the children to play and sing... vad folk säger » songs. This Place is a hidden Gem with the most beautiful ocean waters. They also have trips out to the eolian islands in sicily which is a must! Ove - Location and beach and pool. Rooms are big and clean. Nice views over to Stromboli.
