  We loved staying at Tenuta Montzeglio. The rooms were very comfortable and the setting beautiful. The food was excellent. Each day we were asked a few questions about what we wanted to eat and although we never saw a menu we were always delighted with the food.   The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere in the hotel is very warm. The parking is very comfortable. The room is not fancy but clean, large and beautiful with a great view to the lake. There is an Orta Lake beach near the hotel with free entrance to hotel guests. The hotel has also vine cellar where we could choose from the various assortment of vines. The breakfast was tasty. - Hotel position overlooking the lake. Excellent food in restaurant. But our holiday was made by the kind attentions of the manager, Otello. Nothing too much trouble and he was the one ray of sunshine in what was disappointing weather for time of year. Whilst we were there, wifi was installed but only available in reception area at the moment. Big bonus.

  The staff really took care of us. Our first night we slept in the Quadruple (the room for four persons at the top of the house) at Santa Caterina, and it was nice. The breakfast was super and it was the most beautiful we´ve ever been served. Next night we moved to La casa sul Lago by the lake, which also was nice.   The building was very new so everything was clean and modern. The room was very clean, and the fridge was useful, although a little noisy. Lovely walk in shower. The terrace had comfortable chairs and a view of the garden.
