As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. I have been to Italy alone around 15 times. And in all that time worldwide, I cannot think of better, kinder hosts. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

  Agriturismo Vessus is very close to Alghero, just 2 minutes by car to the city border and about 4 minutes to the old city. The room design and equipment was very authentic sardinian and up to date. Everything was in very good shape. The whole place was outstanding clean and tidy, although we were the first guests in this season. The place is a little bit outside Alghero but still possible to walk there if really necessary. The room was very good, clean, comfortable and sunny. Great swimming pool. I enjoyed our stay in Agriturismo Vessus very much. The environment, the owner, olive trees around the place and dogs and cats made our short stay in Alghero very pleasant.

  We really loved the welcome we received from Paulo the lovely lady, who was so friendly and kind.She made us very welcome to Alghero and explained where we could get buses and find supermarkets.   The location is very good, few minutes away by walk to the city center and restaurants. Next to the Butterfly accommodation there is a free big car park, where we used to park our car. The staff were very kind and helpful, gave us all information about the city, beaches and restaurants. Room was very nice, comfortable and safe. Just around the corner there was a cafeteria where we used to have breakfast. - The rooms look exactly like on the pictures, warm and cosy room and really modern furniture and bathroom.   The room was very big and really comfortable. It had tv, fridge, free wi-fi worked good, safe-box, a big balconee with very comfortable bench and chairs with table, with wonderful view to Capo Caccia and Alghero old city. In the room you also have coffee maker, cups, and plastic glasses. Toiletts - you get everything you need, enough towels, shamp... vad folk säger » oo, etc. The whole Hotel is very very clean. You can walk along the promenade and reach historical centre in only 10 minutes of slow walking. Long bea - everything!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this place with all my heart!!!! Staff, View, room, balcony, everything! Thank you Giovanni! You are a great owner:) I went with my best friend but its also great for couples, famillys etc. I really recomment it!!!

  Our room was spotless & cleaned daily. The room is a good sized double for the price, perfectly located for beach days & Tony was extremely helpful and hospitable to us! We would stay again. - Friendly staff. Amazing location close to the beach. Excellent price. 30min walk to the city center.

  Ideal for small babies, our 1,5 year son was delighted. Well equipped houses, nice sweaming pool, many attractions for kids and babies. excellent location, close to the city and to the beach (5-10 minutes by car). Friendly and helpfull staff, they don't speak English very well but it wasn't a big problem. Breakfast service is ok. A washing machine... vad folk säger » is on site which is very helpful when traveling with children. - We had a large clean chalet with a kitchenette so you could self cater if you wanted. The staff were friendly, very helpful and spoke English. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. There was a swimming pool and plenty of room to relax. Safe and secure parking, and safe for children to play. Would definitely recommend.

  Its a good situated hotel. We spend a week in the apartment and we loved it. Personal was realy kind and the apartment was clean and the beds oke. 1 minut away there is a big supermarket. The pool is lovely. In frond of the hotel is the see and lovely restaurants on the beach. Superplace to stay. Nice place to stay! - Lovely apartment with 2 balconies - one facing the street with partial sea view off the lounge and the balcony off the bedroom faced the pool and had a sea view. The beds were comfortable and we had extra blankets for the nippy nights (we went in early May). Location is a nice 20 minute walk from the old town and there is a beautiful prominade all the way. Loved Alghero and LOVED Residence Picalé.
