  Was welcomed to this hotel as if a distant relation staying with their family, the Piras family. Delightful bijou hotel close to shore and short walk along coast to town of Alghero. I loved my stay here, and felt very relaxed. I was trusted with Hotel keys, and could let myself in late if I chose. It was sparkling clean, and large bedroom. The rooms and hotel in general was very tidy and clean and comfortable to stay in. The breakfast was as stated (continental), however it did have a good selection of choices and filled of up until mid-afternoon. Overall, was a lovely place to stay and my partner and I would go back there if we ever were in Alghero again.

  this is a lovely quiet getaway hotel. Close enough to Alghero town (local bus or taxi) but quiet enough to be very relaxing. For our first few days we had one of only 3 rooms in use - lovely.   It was spotlessly clean and all the necessities were there. The beds were good. The lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful.   Amazing views from the room out to sea. We were the only people by the hot tub in the grounds most of the time so felt like a private garden (but with to-the-sun-lounger bar service) lovely staff, very close to the great restaurants in the old town - 5 mins walk along the pretty sea front. There is parking as well that isn't made obvious when booking. - Villa Mosca is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed in the Comfort room in the attic as this was the only room available and it was perfect for us. The decor is simplistic and luxurious and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best point is it is in a great location right by the sea and walking distance to the town and restaurants and bars.

  Det är andra gången jag och min väninna besöker Alghero och hotell La Playa, och det var precis lika mysigt som tidigare.   The owners emailes me 1 week before my stay, giving me information about how to get there, asking what type of bed I want, etc. They even offered to come and pick me up by car from the port area. When I got there, they gave me a lot of flyers, maps, a list of places to eat and to go out. Of course, the most beautiful beaches are a bit further away. But close to the hotel is - We stayed for only 2 nights but I would choose this place again. In spite of proximity to the beach and old city center you dont feel like living on Khao San. You are staying in Italy among Italians but still close to POI. Room is quite big, clean and street not noisy. Even though they don't have 24 hour service no problem with late and delayed arrival like ours at 2 am. WiFi working well.
