it was great staying in an old fortress the rooms and dining room was so interesting I would have loved some information on the history of it in English - soul of a hotel placed in an beautiful old building..with wery kind staff...warm etno furniture.. we felt good..

We stayed here only for one night in February and really this is the
nicest place you can find in the area. (I can imagine during the
summer time).

The senior member is the
mother, the chef exemplaire..Monica the souschef and handles the business end of the operation.
Paolabeing the English speaker seems to do everything else.
She is reception,importer of routes to take,coffee maker,waitress at dinner and apparently cleans the rooms.
She is the hub..
They are all most pleasant and welcoming

host, stefano, was amazing. He converted this place into a a nice
place to stay. It is very close to Assisi, 5 km. If you are looking
for a place where you home town hospitality and want a place to just
relax and enjoy what the are has to offer, this your your place. Like

Breakfast is really rich. Most things are homemade. Big variety of homemade pies. Moka coffee.
If you have a car, it is good place for visiting Umbria. No problems with parking. Several minutes by car to most important places of Umbria. -
