We stayed in this hotel with my wife for three nights. It's somewhat further from the center and good 15-minute walk from the metro but we enjoy walking and didn't find this annoying. The hotel deserves its three stars, we loved being there. Rooms are ok size, spacious bathrooms. Clean, tidy and no drainage problems as there were in other hotels.

I 've known the hotel for the last 10 years. This is an old
classical furnished hotel but well maintain. Breakfast improved in
quality and variety but the fruit juice. The internet access too. I like
the garden with free parking access. Good location with a car as few
minutes away from the center and easy to exit from the Tuscolana
(Naples, Ciampino) or Marco Polo (eur, Pomezia, Fiumicino). Price can be
very competive and attractive

Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms,
though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually
seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes

Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra
care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past
we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio
were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano
was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the
Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and
this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

staff very nice try to help if needed - The major point to stress for this hotel is that it is very quiet-unusual for a big city. We were not even woken up early by traffic. This has a light breakfast included, decent size rooms but that's pretty much it regarding facilities. Stefano, was amazingly helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful (including the cleaners, breakfast staff and the front desk, which provided really good dinner recommendations 3 nights in a row). Our room for 4 was in a loft-style room so I loved the extra space!

Location Location Location! 5 minutes walk to the Pantheon or Piazza Navona which is a good starting point for any visit to Rome. Delux Room had plenty of space and comfortable, albeit 2 single beds pushed together, rather than the double we were expecting. Air conditioning was a life saver in the heat. Breakfast was continental plus possibility of scrambled or boiled eggs - good selection of breads and fresh fruit. A couple of ladies keep replenishing table cloths and replacing food as it is
