Davitts is a modern, comfortable guest house in the centre of Kenmare Town. It has a free internet hotspot and free on-site parking.
Davitts bar and restaurant has an Art Deco theme and serves food all day and is a favourite with locals. The bar has a large stone fireplace and serves Irish dishes.
The rooms are situated at the rear of the building, away from the noise. Each is en suite and has satellite TV.
Kenmare is a great base for exploring the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.

The location was great! Kenmare is a small, quaint town with some minor shopping but many, many, many pubs up and down and on both sides of th street.
Davidtts was also a pub along with guesthouse. The pub food was good and wait staff were nice and friendly.
What was best about D' s was the owner, Mary. She could not have been nicer, more accommodating, and helpful with giving us tips about all of Ireland and interesting places to go. It was pleasant coming down every morning to be greeted b. alla recensioner »
This was the nicest place we stayed in while touring Ireland. The hotel was very clean and inviting. The restaurant/bar area downstairs was very relaxing and had many beers on tap with excellent food! Live music each night at 7 pm was also very nice. The attention to detail and kindness of the staff could not have been better. Each person was very attentive to any needs you have. Kevin behind the bar was great and Mary serving the huge, hot irish breakfast each morning was nothing short of.
As soon as we arrived everything was fantastic, the room was exactly like the picture. It was a spacious cosy room with three big windows for plenty of light..the room was lovely and warm also..Breakfast was different from everywhere else we have stayed, such a variety of foods both hot and cold.. Mary our waitress couldn't have been more friendlier looking after us so early in the morning, thanks Mary..Can't wait to go back again for such a good bargain also..
The location was very central and had parking available.
The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay.
We expected a typical B&B however it seemed newly refurbished and the room was decorated in a modern way and we were pleasently suprised.
The breakfast was plentiful and we also ate here on the evening. The evening meal was very good, local produce used and one of the best meals on our trip. Would definately recommend.
We stayed for 9 nights and couldn't have been more satisfied: The lady of the house was extremely friendly and helpful in any way, the room was huge and lovely, breakfast really tasty with fresh berries, seeds and nuts, juices, fresh bread and different choices of warm dishes everyday. Good music and food in the evening too, and the best music pub in town on the other side of the street.
Excellent breakfasts: I especially loved the pancakes with banana,
cinnamon and granola. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There were
no tea/coffee-making facilities in the room, but I asked staff who
then brought up a huge tray filled with tea, coffee, biscuits, etc.
The guesthouse is in the middle of the high street but the rooms are surprisingly quiet.
The staff are attentive and wonderful, the room was cozy, clean and very
nicely decorated. The bathroom was the best of the 9 places we stayed on
our trip to Ireland. Best breakfast selection as well. Kenmare is a
lovely small town that was friendly, easy to navigate and served us
perfectly for the Ring of Kerry.
Very friendly welcome and lots of information given about area.
Room was bright and comfortable with both bath and shower facilities and lots of hot water
Breakfast best we have had in Ireland with plenty of choice
Live music in bar at night but sleeping area at rear so no noise.
I enjoyed the location. It is central to Kenmare yet very peaceful and quiet at night. Even though we were there over a weekend we were not disturbed by noise. I must compliment the food it was amazing I never had such delicious breakfast I was spoiled for choice.
Fantastic service, staff , morning noon and night. Gave us great advice on what to see and do in the Area. Ideal for the ring of Kerry & ring of Beare. Breakfast sensational, loads to choose from nothing too much trouble.
The staff were excellent , the rooms were very cosy. The Whiskey porridge is a real treat- a must try. A most enjoyable stay in this hotel. The Location is brillant easy access to pubs, restaurants, shops and banks.
Spacious and very comfortable room with an excellent shower. Superb location - right on the main street. Very friendly and helpful staff and last but not least an amazing breakfast with great choice.
Ticked all the boxes for me. Clean, quiet, spacious room, bath as well as shower over, wifi, parking in the street no problem to find, very nice breakfast and helpful staff. A nice town for a stopover.
Great central location in Kenmare with a very reasonable price. Room was very big with plenty of space and lovely breakfast. Friendly staff, only 1 night but will be back.
Wonderful service and style. Our favorite place on our trip. Mary was a delight to talk with, genuine and informative. Definitely will visit here again!.
Mary the host could not do enough for us, She was attentive to our requirements.
Excellent rooms, Fantastic Breakfasts, We will return without a doubt.
Spacious Room, Clean, Food, Service & particularly the staff who prepared an extra early breakfast. My second stay here and will be back again.
Beautiful room with spacious bathroom. Excellent, quality Irish

I Liked everything, the room was large and was very comfortable. The staff were very nice and the service was great.
Great location; tasty breakfasts; was allowed to pack a small take away container for the long day's drive ahead.
The staff are really lovely and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. Will definitely go back.

The car park is shared and so there's no guarantee of a car parking
space. However there's a 2 hour (free) parking allowance on the high
street during the day, so one is able to park without charge until 11am
the following day which was ample time for us.
We really lucked out regarding parking - because we were out most of the
2 days we were there, we could cheat and park overnight on the main
street, however the parking behind is very limited.
Having to leave
Would stay longer next time.
No lift , but wouldn't stop me staying .
Car parking could be a problem also there is a need for a lift for older people.
There was an issue with the bath leaking water but this still didn't detract from the stay.
Nothing.
Crows on the nearby roofs in the morning.
The breakfast was a bit too early. 10.00am was the last serving, 11.00am would have suited better being a Sunday morning especially.
No free wifi.
Nothing, all great.
Parking is a bit tight.
Nothing at all.
If i really have to find something, no wi-fi in the rooms.
