All rooms have a fan or air conditioning. They feature a TV, a seating area and a bathroom fitted with a bathtub. Views of the neighbouring rice fields can be enjoyed from all rooms.

Lovely small bungalow, very basic facilities, clean & pleasant service.
Fresh air everywhere and has good temperature. Room has no air con but who will need it when the temperature is chill enough especially at night.
Breakfast was excellent.. Ohh, we forgot to ask the recipe of the banana pancake (it was delicious).
Location only short walk to main street Ubud, but we decided to rented a push bike and ride it to explore the city.
We stayed for 2 nights before continue our trip to Kuta be.
It is definitely the people in Bali that will make the difference for your holiday. The location is important however our best time was in and around Ubud .... Adi, his father, brother and family made our stay much easier with lots of suggestions of what to see and do. Beautiful gardens next to rice paddy fields.
They were very helpful in organising tours and dropping us off anywhere we wanted to go.
We all felt safe with such friendly and trustworthy people.

The room's are beautiful; with huge double beds, mosquito nets and en-suite bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the rice fields. Breakfast is brought to your balcony and it was always lovely. The staff are happy to help with anything, and there's a shop on sight for all the basic things. It's only a fifteen minute walk down one flat road into Ubud, but just far enough away to feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle.
Very good and quiet location. 10 minutes walk from Ubud main street. Very clean rooms. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The owner runs a tourist information centre where you can book transfer, fast boat, one day trip in the jungle, etc. They took us to a typical balinese dance show (transfer free of charge). Our last day we had to leave very early so they prepared a take-away breackfast for us. Good value for money.

The family rent motorbike,bicicle and organize tours, moreover has small shop helpfull to buy necessity things needed. Breakfast included is an asset!.

The friendly and helpful family that runs it. The second floor rooms are much nicer than the garden level and have a nice view. Very basic accommodation, great for backpackers, young people.

A good start base for walks around Ubud. The city itself is not that appealing since completely dominated by shops.
Uma Kutuh might want to consider improving the lighting in the rooms - maybe consider installing white-light bulbs - at least it's brighter for better vision.
For those accustomed to using water for personal hygiene when using the toilet, do ask for a bucket from Uma Kutuh, it would be easier.
A bit out of Ubud, but thats not really a disadvantage. I even loved it to have a hotel in a more quite place and the staff is willing to drive you to the city if you dont like to walk.
Position is not great as not convenient to reach at night time unless with motorbike or taxi.
