Hotel at about 1km from main road. We saw that rather as an advantage because of quietness. Bungalow with view on the green surroundings. Simple but clean & tidy rooms. Good bed. Not the great luxury but at this price you get a lot of value for your money. Very helpful and friendly staff for arranging transport & excursions. New guesthouse, very nice located in a private home/garden (you walk by the family temple). Very clean rooms, pretty bathroom with SPA-atmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful. They provide an infobook with many useful informations (tours, transfer, cooking class, delivery service...). Breakfast was very good.
alla recensioner » This guesthouse was a real gem of a find in ubud. For the price, it can not be beaten for budget travellers. The staff are excellent and attentive, whilst the rooms are big, clean and made up everyday! No request is enough and the location may seem far at first but it is just right for walking off the suckling pig!. We really loved staying here! The place is beautiful with many trees, the room is big, clean and confortable, nice shower, breakfast is included and very good. But the best part is the staff, who are really nice and friendly people, who are willing to help you with anything you need. Omah T'aman is a family-run guesthouse with welcoming and helpful staff. The facilities were very clean and comfortable and the daily breakfasts were excellent! Each apartment is spacious (ground floor) and has its own balcony, set amongst vegetation on the outskirts of Ubud. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They organized tours and the transport to your next stay for you. There is also a Kecak Dance Performance from the community Taman in the street. The owner and his brother also take part in this performance. It's worth it. Very clean rooms (the cleanest bathroom we had in our trip to Indonesia), friendly staff, short walk to the center of Ubud but this is not a problem (the street is not dark and we saw mayby one dog there). For this price is just excelent!. Breakfast rather limited in quantity, but OK considering the very fair price of the room. 10 minutes walk to the center, at day no problem, at night a little bit scary, because the street is quite dark and there are many dogs around. We could not stay in ubud longer! Great place. The only thing is that is a little far from the main street in ubud, you have to go up on the street for about 10 minutes. But that's ok, a little exercise is good for everyone, hehe (and during the 6 days we didn't see any crazy dogs that some people have mentioned). The location is a fair distance from the main part of town, and walking home late at night can mean negotiating a few of Ubud's enthusiastic canine residents (who appear to viciously defend their territory). Taxi options in Ubud are limited after 8pm. The wifi is not so good. Maybe a repeater could help. No mosquito net A lot of insects because of the garden and the cottage door does not close enough so they can enter. Bathroom shower area is on small pebbles, a bit unstable to stand in shower for too long. Bed mattress is too squeaky and noisy when toss around. Long walk up the hill from the main road. Not a complaint but worth noting. Pebbles in shower area may look good, but not suitable for everyone (older or young people). Internet not the fastest as in many places of Bali. we were three and it was not big enough, not confortable. A bit far away from the city centre. None. Noisy in morning, cause in front of the rooms there is construction going. About 150meters, on the other side of ravine, hidden by the trees. You almost can't see it, but they noisy a lot from monirning till noon. The place it is very quite ,...
