  Good value for money (by Bali standards), good location, nice comfortable rooms, staff helpful and attentive, pool pretty good. To expand on a few points above: I REALLY don't think Bali is the sort of place you need to worry about a hotel being in a good location. As long as you are away from the scum of Kuta, its all good. We had actually booked this resort for a day. but then we liked the location and comfort in this place so we extended the stay here for one more day. It was so relaxing and staff was so helpful and warm that we extended the stay for the third day as well . This time we upgraded to there private villa.The quality of service and amenities were good.   A lovely hotel, very friendly attentative staff. We enjoyed all the food we had in the hotel both breakfast and evening meal. The suites are gorgeous. The beach is very close but we were disappointed with the eating options outside the hotel in as much as restaurants and shops were too far away and spread out. I stayed in a double-storey suite with traditional Balinese decor, it's beautiful. I love the outdoor living area facing the front, and the marble bathroom is clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, info leaflets of the tours and major attractions are all available at the reception, the reception.

  This is my second visit to Ananda in a month of being in Lombok and Bali, and it felt like I was coming home to a place that suited me very well, after having stayed at several much less pleasing places. It was a family holiday with my husband and two teenage daughters. The location is fabulous being so close to great restaurants and lots of places for the girls to go shopping. The resort itself is traditional Balinese which we love, and although on a busy street (Oberoi Road) it is very peaceful and quiet.   Was very good value for money. The staff smiley and friendly, we had a big family room that was nicely made up while at breakfast in the morning. At the reception they arrange for massage, baby-sitting and gave us free transportation to the airport. The pool was big and the water warm, ideal for the children.
