We are frequent travellers to Bali and we stayed at Umadasa due to all the positive reviews the hotel had.
We had a late arrival at 2 am, however the staff welcoming us with a big smile. They were so friendly and helpful at all times.
Breakfast varied everyday and was served fresh.
Hotel was really quiet considering that it was just steps away from a main road. Beach was less than 5 minutes away walking and there were lots of places to eat or drink around.

The owners & staff were great & always willing to help, the small family run apartments are only suitable for couples with one upstairs bedroom & shower, ours was clean & looking onto the lovely pool, also breakfast served in your room without time limits, aircon & shower great. A fantastic little getaway gem if you are looking for something good value with a touch of traditional Balinese. I stayed in a double-storey suite with traditional Balinese decor, it's beautiful. I love the outdoor living area facing the front, and the marble bathroom is clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, info leaflets of the tours and major attractions are all available at the reception, the reception.

I sent many emails and was always answered promptly and nothing was ever too much for them to change. We were all thrilled with our accommodation and location especially having our own pool. The staff were excellent and nothing was ever a problem for them. The food was always presented well and tasted so nice. We ate in quite a few different cafes around the Seminyak area and all was very good. I would definitely recommend Desamuda to the elder as we had a 75 year old traveling with us and

I love the atmosphere of the place and definitely love the room and the cleanliness. Food in the cafe was great and we were lucky to meet two adorable furry pups who were staying in the hotel lobby as well. Less than 5 minutes away from Seminyak beach and 5-10 minutes walk away from the restaurants and shops. Peaceful and romantic I must say.

This is the second time at this hotel, was impressed the first time and it only gets better, upgrades include electronic room locks and freshly painted bathrooms. The deluxe room was spacious and comfortable and the outside Balinese-styled bathroom was beautiful. The hotel is set on a busy main road however all the rooms and swimming pool are set back and surprising quiet. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The villas are a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 mins to the main part of Seminyak.
