I had a very nice and clean room in a well equiped hotel with all facilities I needed. In all my travels I rarely encountered such a friendly personnel!
The breakfast is overwhelming, the restaurant is good and there's many more restaurants around if you want some variety.

The pool was great too.
Location is great if you want to visit Prambanan and Borobudur.
Food in the restaurant was good and very cheap too. Only expensive thing is the wine! 90 euros for a simple bottle of Australian wine.... -

This is a very nice, old and atmospheric hotel. Almost like walking in a museum, we liked it a lot. The breakfast is the best we ever had in a Indonesian hotel, with lots of Western and Asian food, including a "jamu" woman for traditional medicine.
Rooms are not as modern as in a new hotel, but they are kept clean and beds are comfortable.
Location it is about 1 km from railway station. Cheap Airport bus stops next door. There is a minimart nearby.
Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the efficiency of the staff and all the facilities. The size of the room was excellent, I was upgraded at a small cost, but it was well worth it. I would happily go back when in Jakarta.
