  I can honestly say that the Oberoi Grand in Kolkata provides the best service we have ever experienced in a hotel (and we have stayed in many 5 star hotels all over the world.) This hotels serves as an example of how a hotel should be run. The location is also perfect. The food at the main restaurant is some - The Hotel is like a oasis of calm in crowded city Kolkata. As soon as you enter the Hotel you hear nothing from the traffic.   The location was good. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. Was stayed here for 6 nights. Just enjoyed even on the edge of Philine Cyclone.   We had spent some time travelling around West Bengal for three weeks prior to our stay so the easy greeting and check in was great. All the staff that we spoke to seemed genuinely concerned about whether or not we were enjoying our stay. Everyone was very enthusiastic full of positive energy, which effect psychologically the human being. We stayed for more in 17 nights in this Hotel, every day was member.   felt at ease with the entire staff and complex. Good value for money and I'm glad we booked through letsbookhotel.com otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford the hotel's rack rate. - Friendly helpfull staff, clean rooms, excellent food, good location.
