As the title explains..it's basic, has fairly modern rooms..with either split or window AC's and tv's. The rooftop has a splendid view of the Mehrangarh fort. The front rooms get a direct view of the fort and also a small pond in front, which although is filled with litter, also has some birds that come visiting (we got to see black ducks and some parrots). Although located in the heart of the old city..the area has an old world charm to it, with a splash of village life (hint:lots of cows;-)) .
alla recensioner » This is a family run, very pleasant hotel. The rooms are clean and from the lake side have a great view. Roof top restaurant has a fantastic view of the fort and the city - the best one we've seen there anyway. Great service, good food, away from the crowds, but walking distance to wherever you want to get to in Jodhpur. Highly recommended!. The location is perfect, you can see the clear view of Meherangarh fort, it's very beatiful in the night. People there are all friendly and helpful. It well worths its price, surely recommended!. The view was good from my balcony which, apparently, was a favorite place for pigeons. The floor was very slippery during raining days. Only average value for money compared to other places I visited in jodhpur The rooftop would benefit from some cover. For shade. The room was smaller then expected. Don’t expect to much of the restaurant, the house keepers also run the restaurant. Only good for a very simple breakfast. Unfortunately it was difficult for the manager to arrange reasonable priced care hire. If you have a busy program it is great to be able to rely on the hotel manager for arranging basic needs as care hire (E.G. in New Delhi I paid 1.000 inr to hire a car for a day, in Jodhpur I had to pay 1.500!). Low amenities, refgirator, hot pot, every days new towel are require. . You had to go through an extremely busy and filthy area to reach the hotel, . No schadow at all in the roof restaurant which made it impossible to seat up there from 10am till sunset, . New towels would not be a luxury. They smell very bad as soon as they get wet . Puck up from airport is 500 roupies and drop off at private bus station 400. Far too expensif. The quality of room was very poor, very old facilities and not clean, no enough hot water for shower. Noisy in the evening. No breakfast included. Very basic, below western standards, but owner looking for positive feed back, hopefully will improve in time, Indian idea of a flat screen tv is way different to mine.
