  This hotel was of very good quality, highly attractive with its' haveli type appearance and architecture, in a reasonably quiet location of the city, beautifully decorated and furnished throughout, with very high level of service, good food and a lovely roof top restaurant, and a dining/breakfast room on the same level. Hot water which seems to be problem with many hotels was not her - The Umaid Bhawan is a beautiful hotel with amazing decor and was a joy to stay at. the bedroom was gorgeously decorated and the staff were polite and efficient. The rooftop restauraunt provided lovely food in a relaxing surroundings and our stay was perfect in every way. We had a package which included a driver for the day and he was verey useful in describing the location and providing transport to some of the more remote sights. I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Jaipur.

  The Umaid Mahal is a gem of a hotel. It is well located and absolutely beautiful, the exterior a promise of the interior, the decor is completely beguiling and the historical photos take you back to a bygone era. The food is delicious and lovely roof terrace to sit and while away a few hours. The bar well stocked and the prices no - The hote is brightly decorated and well maintained even though it is an antique hotel. The stuff is very friendly and polite which makes the guest really feels like a quest. The price for the food is also very reasonably priced, especially the roof top restaurant which is very cute but clean. The room is lushly decorated, really feel like to live in the rich historical site. Good value for money and will definitely recommend others to stay here.

  As Jaipur is quite spread out, Tara Niwas was centrally located, just a short Tuk Tuk drive to all the sight seeing places. The rooms were very nice, and the whole place is super clean. Staff are always cleaning keeping it spotless! Hot shower is awesome and bathrooms are clean! Hi speed WIFI is great! The food in the restaurant is awesome. Small ... vad folk säger » menu, but great food and good service. All the staff are so kind, happy and very helpful. This was one of the best places we stayed on our trip. Gre - This was a great hotel. The staff were really kind and helpful, especially the two night guys, Arvine and his colleague. The rooms were spotlessly clean and nice linen and towels. In room safe, heater, ac and fan. Bathrooms had plenty of hot water and a bath as well as shower. Good quality soap and shampoo. Being a bit out of town also meant rooms were quiet. For the price paid its really excellent value for money. Nice restaurant.

  Beautiful property and grounds, quiet and peaceful, just what we wanted. Our suite looked just like the pics on the website - clean, pretty and spacious. Excellent staff - welcoming and super-helpful. Exactly the k - I live on the outskirts of Jaipur at a university campus and regularly go on a one day trips to various hotels and resorts in Jaipur..... And by far this is the best I have been to..... Quite calm serene... Excellent and helpful staff.... Great and I mean just great food.... Good wines.... Candle light dinners in the open....   We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which is about 45 minutes from central Jaipur (about half of which is off-road). The villa was very spacious and well designed, and the grounds were also beautifully kept. It is incredibly peaceful, with only a small number of villas on site.
