  We only found this hotel because everything in Basel was booked out or too expensive. And what luck that was. It's a three minute train ride in to Basel, and was perfect for us to see the Art Fair. The staff at the Ott Hotel are so kind and friendly, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. After a recent and very ordinary experience in Pa - second time we booked the hotel as halfway stop to our destination. We were surprised about the nice redone rooms. But a short walk to towncentre. Free parking and internet gives always an extra value.

  what an excellent hotel! There is nothing I can say which is negative about this place. We found that the hotel restaurant is closed during the evenings on certain weekdays but they recommended a restaurant 30 seconds walk away which served some of teh best food we ave ever eaten. We have made a note of this hotel and restaurant and will definetaly... vad folk säger » be going back again someday. - Staff were welcoming and friendly and interested in us as guests. Food was very good - we were vegetarians and they made up particular meals for us. Helped with translations - couldn't have been better. Always about without being intrusive.

  The Karle family were brilliant. They made our stay very comfortable and they even invited us into their home to sit with their friends and taste wine. We locked ourselves out twice and had to wake them up in the early hours and even then they were friendly to us.
