  We arrived after dark and it took us a few minutes to locate the guesthouse but it was well worth it! Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful - she took us by car to a local restaurant and collected us later. Our room was tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.   We were made to feel very welcome. Monika added so many extra special touches such as complimentary cakes and coffee on arrival, with chocolates for the children. Gluhwein one evening.   The apartment was much more spacious than I was expecting. It was very clean and very comfortable. The photos did not do it justice. I particularly loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the countryside and the pretty town of Blankenrath.   I wanted a hotel that was close to Burg Eltz and found Gastehaus Castor. I am glad I did. My family rented the 3rd floor apartment for 2 nights. The hosts were great. The apartment was huge.   I liked the comfort, cleanlines, the service we received at the Garni Hotel. We were collected from the Airport which was great and we were dropped back again in the morning. - I'm so impressed with the Friendly Master's hospitality.
