  Very good standard and spacious rooms with direct access to a closed garden. In fact one of the best rooms on this trip back from South of France to Norway by car. A drawback that the restaurant did not serve evening meals. After a long day on the road it is not your highest priority to go around looking for restaurants in the city.

  Service was phenomenal. Were escorted to our room by the young woman who help us at the desk; showed us how everything worked in the room. Restaurant was excellent with nice bar adjacent. Live music, yet you could still have a conversation.   Absolutely wonderful setting and the hotel is beautiful. The meal we had was one of the best I have had in Germany. So good we took friends back a week later. A wonderful experience. - Nice old rooms (castle is build 1904) , good service and breakfast, wonderful view on the werra river.
