  Good location. near the railway staton, and also next to a supermarket. The room was large, nice, well equiped, and with a balcony. The quality of the breakfast was good.   The location couldn't be bettered. Restaurants either direction, very close to bus stop, shopping area. If coming by train, would need a taxi or bus to get to the hotel as the town is on a hillside. The hotel is very quiet. We had the luxury of 2 rooms to ourselves. Reception was helpful.   The innkeepers are really nice, they prepared local transport information for us. The room was very cozy and was cleaned every day during our stay. Breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee and egg. Each of two bus stops is about 3 to 5 minutes away, even walking distance to the Berchtesgaden HBF is just about 15 minutes. - The best hostel i've ... vad folk säger » ever been!   The hotel is very close to the Hauptbahnhof which makes it wonderful for railers. The rooms were basic, but your just sleeping and showering there. The bathroom was a nice size as was the shower (im 6'1), and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pleantiful and good, views from the room were terrific (right on the river) and they let us keep ou... vad folk säger » r guest cards for the day even after we checked out so we could finish our sight seeing, and then I just returned them later before we jumped on our t - The location is great, just across the train/bus station, so you will be thankful that you don't need to drag luggage up to the hills where most of the other hotels locate. The room is very clean, bed is nice, though the rooms in annex building do not have elevators and shower/restroom a bit small yet very clean. The breakfast buffet is good.
