  Good location near the most vibrant and interesting part of Berlin, small but very nicely furbished and stylish calm rooms, absolutely clean, good housekeeping, excellent breakfast served in the small but cosy restaurant or outside in the courtyard, extremely competent and supportive staff in the restaurant (being early at breakfast: "no problem, ... vad folk säger » I`ll get you the rea...") and the reception desk (they did the shipment of an important document for me, reliable and just as a matter of course - tha - Excellent design, rooms are of a good size and well isolated.   The staff and the service were very fine. I saw the gentleman behind the front desk offer to help another guest locate a place to buy some rare auto parts! Very helpful, cordial, friendly, and warm.   The free breakfast buffet was served at great times (until late morning) and was actually more than a few stale croissants- meat, bread, yogurt, bagels,cereal,fruit, boiled eggs, etc. The hotel offers free wifi- which works and is usable and fast. In Mitte there are some great restaurants,cafes, and shopping. - The location is perfect. Mitte is a great area with lots of vintage stores, nice restaurants en great pubs. Within a couple of minutes you walk to the river Spree, which runs through the hart of the city. Big hotspots like Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, Bundestag and Holocaust Denkmal are doable walking. I can recommend this hotel to anyone!

  Handy for central station and the hop on hop off bus. The room we had was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. - Staff were extremley friendly and helpful. rooms large and individual, had character.   It was an amazing price/ quality ratio. We had a wonderful, huge apartment for a price elsewhere you wouldn't even get a broom closet. We were amazed about the luxurious comfort and the full equipment of the suite. Specially the kitchen had everything from a fridge, micro wave to a washer. You could have moved in there for living.   The staff was very friendly but some appeared a bit reserved. The location is great, it took about 20min to walk to the central station/city (the neighborhood is also very good). If you prefer the metro the nearest station is just down the street. The parking area is great; they charge 15euro/day. (Still it's an open area so you can drive in/out - We loved its proximity to the main train station (it can be reached in around 10 min walk). However, the area in which it is located is under construction so reaching the hotel carrying luggage was quite a pain (took us 25 min). In our room we found some brochures at the back of which there were some discount coupons for Madame Tussauds and Sealife. We were happy to use them and get 2 tickets for the price of 1. The internet in the lobby was quite slow but considering that it was free of char
