  The staff was very friendly and very helpful with directions. Location was excellent: 3 closeby train stations and very central, beside Alster lake, closeby touristy spots. The rooms were new, very comfy beds (difficult to leave the room!) Price was reasonable for the convenience. I also liked the Barcelo hotel big sign that helped us find the hot... vad folk säger » el when we were lost walking in the streets. - Excellent location near to station, art gallery, and shopping areas. Short walk to Town Hall square and lake. Very helpful staff at reception. Seuss penthouse suite which was superb and excellent value. Can't really fault the hotel except the design of the ground floor areas is rather bland and uninteresting.

  I loved staying at the hostel! It was very modern and very clean. The staff were so friendly! My room was with 6 other girls and very modern too. Nice bunk beds and with privacy screens. Chargers for cell phones and computers. You don't need adapters if you can charge with a usb cable. Each bed has their own charging station along with light. The appartment was clean, comfortable and quiet (appartment 2B that was not facing the street, but the backyard).   Excellent location, very close to train station and many restaurants...just a few steps to the lovely lake area. It's close to shopping and sights, too, and if you're not too burdened with luggage, you can walk from the cruise center (we did, with 50-pound bags). We'd stay at Ibis again. - Location was a big plus, walking distance from train station and main city attractions. Staff at the breakfast buffet, bar and front desk were very nice.
