  The professional people who man the reception desk are great.   The hotel is absolutely beautifully designed. Each room is unique and has genuinely artistic touches (high ceilings, interesting but not garish paint colors, attractive furnishings). Although the rooms face a fairly busy street, the windows very effectively reduce noise. The cafe offers phenomenal coffee and breakfasts, and - I liked the fabulous, outstanding and absolutely unique design of the place, the rooms and the interiors. For a fashion and design loving person like me - this was amazing to see with how much creativity and love the rooms are designed. A concept that I have not seen anywhere else and it should clearly be in architecture and design magazines.   The apartment was very nice, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed, although a small microwave oven would have been nice. Also, the manager checked us in late in the evening, and he was very friendly and helpful about how to get around Berlin to see the sites. - Good organised. Good place for a cheap stay.

  The apartment was the perfect size for a couple with extra pull out beds for a family group. Excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and lots of storage. Balcony was really nice to have although more use in the summer! The U-Bahn and StrassenBahn (BernauerStrasse) are just a few minutes walking from the apartment. You can go walking to the city centre (Mitte). In 20 minutes you are in Alexander Platz.   Location was great being close to the underground. We were given clear instructions on how to find the apartment and directions from airport. Apartment was clean, spacious and as described on the website. Friendly staff. We had a maintenance issue and the staff dealt with it promptly. These apartments are managed through the nearby Raja Jooseppi Cafe and, despite first appearances, this was in fact a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Berlin.   If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.
