  I liked that the room was super clean, updated, and there was no smell of smoke anywhere in the hotel including common areas. Very tidy experience. Also, in room 22, I could stick my head out the window and look up and down the river Neckar.   Been a long time since we stay at a Ibis Hotel. Last time was in 2007. Glad to know that they still are a familiar place. You know what you´ll get when you book a Ibis Hotel. And glad to know that they have improved. Bed and pillows were fantastic. Good shower and room decoration was better than we remember. Good price for Heidelberg - it's a budget hotel in Heidelberg which located next by Train Station. it's far away from old town, you better take city tram or bus or drive to there. have free parking but not enough parking space in front of the hotel. it's hard to find the 2nd parking area, you better ask you travel buddy to go to check-in first and get the instruction with map for getting to 2nd parking area.

  the hotel is a complete value for money.. extremely nice folks at the desk and very helpful. language is not a problem if you know english only .. the hotel provides a nice pvt bathroom. the breakfast is a nice spread considering that it is a budget hotel. the most striking part was the cleaniness.. the hotel and the rooms were absolutely clean an... vad folk säger » d spotless. it also provide a nice wide parking space if you are in a car and the town is also accessible at all places on car. the caslte isnot far f - This hotel is off the beaten track but that makes it quiet. I stayed for 7 nights in November and never had a problem with noisy neighbors or traffic. It is located close to public transport stops which made it convenient for me to get anywhere I wanted to go. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices at the best price I experienced in my Germany vacation. Casual atmosphere, clean and cozy.
