  Beautiful hotel right in the centre of the city. The staff were very helpful (I rushed in from the car after a long drive and needed to use the WC before even checking in and they were very helpful!). The room was beautiful, modern, big and airy. It is directly across from the famous restaurant Auerbach's Keller where Goethe sets the scene in which Faust sells his soul to the devil. Great meal and wonderful paintings. The hotel is minutes from the famous Thomaskirche where Bach served as music director.

  Excellent hotel - great location, pleasant staff, nice rooms, good gym, good breakfast, good value for money - I liked about everything at the hotel: its place in the historical center of the city, its facilities, decoration, excellent breakfast.   It is in an excellent location without being in a tourist trap. It makes you feel like it's your own private apartment and you can live like a hip local. Spotlessly clean, upscale features, elegant decor, charming and very accommodating owners/staff, wonderful little convenience store 2 doors down with delicious Russian snacks. The bed was huge and comfy and it had a kitchen with everything I needed. It's also only about a 10-minute walk from the train station and there is a tram stop directly outside the door.

The room was quite large and the hotel was excellent, with a fantastic breakfast. - This was a first class hotel with excellent service.
