The location of the hotel, which is right beside Check Point Charley, and represents a perfect starting point for an historical and cultural sightseeing! Moreover, the confort of the room: my wife and I had read several negative reports about a supposed "glass wall" in the room, between the toilette and the bedroom, but that turned out in-existent. Maybe the problem had been satisfactorily solved!

The staff was very friendly but some appeared a bit reserved.
The location is great, it took about 20min to walk to the central station/city (the neighborhood is also very good).
If you prefer the metro the nearest station is just down the street.

We loved its proximity to the main train station (it can be reached in around 10 min walk). However, the area in which it is located is under construction so reaching the hotel carrying luggage was quite a pain (took us 25 min). In our room we found some brochures at the back of which there were some discount coupons for Madame Tussauds and Sealife. We were happy to use them and get 2 tickets for the price of 1. The apartment was great! We were a group of 9 girls in our late 20s & there was plenty of room for us all. Only 2 bathrooms so was hectic when all trying to shower but we made it work!
There's a supermarket 3 blocks away or a small one opposite, & a taxi rank outside Checkpoint Charlie.

Great location near the underground, close by to supermarkets and good cafes and checkpoint charlie.
Very spacious and comfortable, bedrooms downstairs gave us freedom to enjoy ourselves in lounge without worrying our footsteps would be making noise for neighbours. Balcony as well and a very quiet area, no problems sleeping at all.
Would definitely stay again.

Hotellets läge i Berlin är perfekt för att nå alla intresanta stadsdelar. Aldrig långt hem var man än är. - -bra läge i stadsdelen Mitte, mycket nära U-bahn. Supermarket och internetcafé i närheten. Ingen AC men det finns tjocka gardiner att dra för och markiser att fälla ner för att hålla värmen borta. Bullrar en del från gatan, mindre på natten.
