Great place in a great area. This lovely hotel lies on top of a hill
just in front of a beautiful lake from which is visible the famous
castle of Neuschwenstein. It's a silent and pleasant area and if you
are lucky to get a sunset, you can also get a lovely panoramic view from
the balcony and you can even have a walk along the lake which is just 1

Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.

This is a "designer" hotel and every turn had surprises. Memory foam beds - so comfy. Chalet-looking balconies overlooking a castle on the hill. Great showers. Good breakfast. Fast internet. Our 2 rooms (one couple per room) each had room for a small family. Ours had a larger-than-usual queen bed, a single and a bunk built into the elaborate headboard. Our married kids room had the large queen, 3 stacked bunks and a little kitchenette. Unexpected. Beautiful linens. Would go again an

The location is very nice even though the walking path from the bus stop to the Alatsee was much longer than I expected. It is about 80min walking to Füssen city where you can take a bus to the castles. It will be a wonderful choice for driving families or friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Hidy cooked fried eggs for us for the breakfast which satisfied us very much. Our room which is facing to the lake is big and clean with comfortable beds and quilts. The shower is very good.

After seeing many critisiz view on net, the apartment suprized me. Quite sizeble with a bed room, a kitchen, a bath with tube, a living room with balcony opposite the lake. covinent for parking, nice staff who told me that I can park in their chain restaurant in old town for free. -

The apartment was large but a little old. Top floor apartment (2 storeys above ground) with a view to the mountains.. Reasonably well equipped kitchen. Bathroom old with shower curtain on 3 sides of shower which made the shower area small.
On site carparking which being so close to the old town was a bonus due to limited car parking elsewhere. Short walk to old town. Owner very helpful and spoke good english.

This is an absolutely lovely location -- the rooms were large and I loved the shared balcony overlooking the lake. It's far enough away from Neuschwanstien Castle to get away from the tourist hordes, but close enough to be no hassle. The value for the room with breakfast is excellent and the restaurant serves a very good dinner. -
