  The hotel is about 100 m from the train station and bus stop. Close to the old town, a supermarket, shops and restaurants. Our room was modern and big enough for 2 people. The room was very clean, the bathroom, as well. Staff very friendly and the manager's English excellent so no worries there. Explained everything clearly on arrival so there was no need to contact him, although he said he is contactable 24 hours a day. We enjoyed the breakfast which filled us up for the days exploring.   Great place in a great area. This lovely hotel lies on top of a hill just in front of a beautiful lake from which is visible the famous castle of Neuschwenstein. It's a silent and pleasant area and if you are lucky to get a sunset, you can also get a lovely panoramic view from the balcony and you can even have a walk along the lake which is just 1... vad folk säger » 0 minutes distant by walk. I hope to do - Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.

  A pleasant enough hotel, further from Fussen than we had realised (about 8km) but in a pleasant rural setting on the main (but not busy) road. There is a reasonable restaurant attached - when we arrived an had to go into the restaurant to check in everyone was staring at us!   Fussen is a beautiful small town with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. We had booked an apartment, which cost no more than a standard room at most places, It was incredible. So spacious, separate sitting room, huge bathroom with luxury tub/shower. No a/c but did not need it, and there was an excellent oscillating floor fan to use if ne... vad folk säger » eded. Nice private balcony to sit and enjoy the views. Lots of electrical outlets and plenty of lighting. Located on pedestrian- friendly street right - Our young children loved the apartment we stayed in because they had their own room with "supercool" beds (ours was pretty comfy too). The kitchen was well equipped, thug, as previousy mentioned, the "Clean Up or Else..." sign was a little off-putting. We were on the first floor, so the stairs were not a big issue, and the place was very quiet while we were there. Location was perfect and the lack of traffic around the hotel made the short walk to the parking lot a worthwhile trade-off.

  We enjoyed very much our staying there at the Gastehous Kopf with charming hostesses Carmen and Martina. The quality-price ratio was brilliant! We had a well equipped kitchenett and we really enjoyed our cooking there. It took us about 20 min to get to the center of the town or the Railway Station by walk and for about 5 minutes to Forgensee lak... vad folk säger » e. Walking (or hiking) is very popular at that place and we also enjoyed it. Very recommendate place - Super friendly staff. The receptionist gave us maps of the area and the attractions as soon as we arrived and explained tickets and parking around the castles. Nice breakfast option with great variety and fresh eggs. The room was not just clean, it was hospital, hygienic level clean! The bathroom and shower were a comfortable size. And the room even had a fully equipped kitchenette that we chose to use when we were tired of restaurant food.

The best was the recommendation of a restaurant at the nearby Alatsee, fantastic food in an exciting environment, that invites for a walk after the meal. We reserved apartment for 3 people and it was an apartment, which included living room with balcony, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It was fully furnished, spacious and clean. The staff was nice and really! helpful. We received many information about the region and also a card, which offers discounts. You can buy breakfast. In case, if you have kitchen you can order fresh rolls, which are waiting for you every morning. I thoroughly recommend this place
