  New owner, Peter, very friendly and informed. Room was beautifully remodeled with fabulous view of Lake Hopfensee and mountains in background. Took dry sauna in lower level and other amenities are being developed for spa like experience there as well. Close location to castles and many good restaurants along Lake Hopfensee where could walk in ... vad folk säger » evening. Could also drive to another Ludwig castle, Linderhof, about an hour away. Breakfast at hotel was very, very good and lovely setting. Woul - Everything; wonderful accommodation with a terrific view, in a nice little village, just far enough from Fussen to be away from the crowds of tourists.Great restaurant right across the road for dinner, and a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful location at the hotel. Highly recommended.

  Beautifully situated in a quiet park setting. Wonderful breakfast and helpfully family run staff. The rooms are well appointed and large.

  Breakfast was nice - The hotel and restaurant were both wonderful. We had a very good and reasonably priced dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was one of the best that we had during our trip. The chocolate shop at the hotel had a very good selection of beautifully made candies. The staff were also very ... vad folk säger » friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we had a nice stay. - Fantastic hotel, it is located right in the center of the town, so very easy to walk out the door and explore Fussen. Onsite parking is in the back of the hotel. Our family room was large, very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the town square and the mountains. The hotel has a bakery as a storefront and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was very generous and excellent.
