very close to main train station. very helpful staff. very good breakfast. walking distance to old town. fabulous old pub next door with excellent beer/ - Hotel was comfortable and staff were friendly. Location was close torailway station and centre. Food was excellent great choice.

I loved that it felt that we were in the country, but we were also close to the shopping area. It was just a walk to the Rhine River and we were able to catch a cruise boat from Kaiserwerth to Dusseldorf and back again. The setting of this Hotel is fantastic, the gardens sweep down to the Rhein and yet you are still in the city. Beautiful quiet area. Considering that I had booked for the wrong day, the owner went out of their way to accomodate me. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are some great restaurants along the Rhein and within walking distance. Everything about this Hotel is a YES!

Even if you're supposed to check in before 11 PM, there's someone available at night (we had to call while roaming though, because we didn't know that we would be arriving so late. I guess we were lucky!).
Good enough breakfast. Not too far from the AltStadt (but not too close), and you can walk to/from the train station since it's 5 or 10 minutes

Internet signal arrived even to the last floor (room 64) which also happened to have a nice view. -
This hotel is really great value for money.
I booked the room with private bathroom in the hallway and was very satisfied. The room was simple but had all one can need and the bathroom was very clean. I always appreciate a hairdryer :)
Breakfast was also nice.

I loved everything, the maid and receptionist were very serviceable and polite.The breakfast is wonderfully.(just little far the center, but there is transportation near) - Great night's sleep. Clean and comfortable. Spoke great english and helpful clerks.

Would definitely stay again. Picked up some of the cards at the front desk. Man working front desk was very helpful and friendly. Room was perfect. Would recommend to anyone. Don't be put off that it's 15 mins south of the train station - we were given free tram passes on arrival, the trams are 3 an hour, and they take 10 minutes to Konigsalee, or the Altstadt.
