the staff were extremely helpful. Anything that you would want they would try and get for you. - Although not in centre the U-bahn makes it very easy to get anywhere, and there are plenty restaurants nearby. Good breakfast. Lovely pool and sauna area.

The hotel is clean and new, and is conveniently located for public transport and major highways. Free on-street parking around the hotel was safe. There are some very good restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. The staff were friendly and responsive. -

Small olderstyle hotel, spotlessly clean, modern en suite, delicious buffet breakfast included in the price. Close to the city and sights. Pleasant and helpful staff, quiet. Buses door to door from city and station. Secure as door locked at 8pm but given own key to come and go. Lift to first floor and plenty of local restaurants. -

Clean and comfortable. Big room. Compared to other places in the same or near the same price class that I´ve been to in the last couple of years it felt like a real hotel. Slept very well. Didn´t try the breakfast. Nice staff too. - Cleanliness. Buffet breakfast fresh with good variety and choice. Very polite staff. Room was spacy and not cramped.

very nice hotel. great location - easy access by foot, bike, metro, car. Good breakfast - a bit expensive if you consider feeding the whole family :-) Only rated "good" for comfort because of the constraction which is currently is going on in a backyard. -

Pensionatet är enkelt men helt OK, det finns ju ingen personal egentligen utan bara en trevlig person som tar emot. Det är en gammal lägenhet med 2 dubbelsängar och ett kök. Pensionatet ligger trevligt i en charmig av gamla östberlin. - Clean and nice apartment just for the two of us. Quiet.

Hotellets läge tycker jag/vi var det bästa samt frukostbuffen var utmärkt. - Rent och snyggt rum. Trevligt med antika möbler och alla gamla ting att titta på. Artig och vänlig personal. Mycket god frukostbuffé! En middag åts på hotellet och den var vällagad och snabbt serverad.

As noted, the rooms are small; however, they are well designed in that there are nooks and crannies as well as hooks that help keep everything organized and handy.
The location is excellent, around the corner from the Spittelmarkt U-bahn station. There are eateries near the station--a bakery, konditorei and bierstube restaurant. Very clean, comfortable, well-organised hotel - a bit like a super-hostel! Our room was overlooking the courtyard, so was quiet and we could open the window - our friends overlookong the street found it noisy with the window open. The shower and separate loo was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and quality was very good. Very good choice for a city break - though a bit distant from central Berlin. Make sure you have a Berlin travel ticket and a good map of the S and U- B
