  The hotel is in a good location for transit to Cologne. It was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic! The bilingual staff were helpful and friendly. The owner was above-and-beyond in every capacity of client service. I grew up down the street from the hotel and came back for the first time since childhood and she took me on ... vad folk säger » trips to reaquaint me with my former neighbourhood and Cologne.   We thought it was a very good hotel. The rooms were very large compared to many in Germany, the hotel was easy to find, and the restaurant was very good.   The trip was a last minute plan to attend the cologne carnival..so we chose the place as it was a good price for something last minute and thought it is located a little on the outskirts...but is still not that far from the city center..there is a S bahn stop about 300m-400m from the hotel ..with about a 10 minute ride to the hauptbahnhof or main ... vad folk säger » station...Staff was really friendly and helpful and knew English as well! Recommended for anyone who wants to try it while in Cologne. - The hotel was outside of the city, but was a short walking distance to the train stop that would take you right to the center by the cathedral... about 15 minutes all together.
