They gladly looked after our luggage following check out as our flight back was in the evening and made good recommendations for places to eat in Dusseldorf.   Location is outside of Dusseldorf, an easy 15 minute train ride into town. I don't know if this is a continuing program, but the hotel gave us passes for the rail/bus/subway system, saving us money unexpectedly. The hotel is quiet, despite being adjacent to the main rail line into the city - no problems with noise during the night. Note that there... vad folk säger » are limited dining facilities in the town - and the hotel couldn't feed us one night, so be sure to reserve for dinner if not eating in the city. Big - The Haus Litzbrück is the perfect German countryside inn in the North Rheinland, but it is close to Düsseldorf and Köln, nearby beautiful forests for hiking. Anne, the owner, is so wonderful, and it's like living in a beautiful home. The food is absolutely fantastic. The photos and descriptions do not do the place justice. It is much more than it is made out to be!

  Loved the location. Right in the middle of Altstadt and very easy walk to the Rhine River and the Konigsalee. The apartment was clean, neat, and very comfortable. Also very close to the subway system which made it easy to find from the train station, and it was really easy to get to the airport. Finally the breakfast that they offered in the mor... vad folk säger » nings was outstanding. There was a pot of coffee for the table and a wide range of cheeses, meats, eggs, yogurt, and breads. If we ever go back to D - For a quick trip to the Dusseldorf Altstadt Christmas markets and atmosphere, it suited us fine. It was central, bright and clean, comfortable, friendly staff, excellent value and we also had a very nice breakfast. It was situated over two Irish pubs ( no noise issue whatsoever)and we had the unexpected bonus of some very good Irish music on Sunday night - all played by German musicians. The owner also responded to a booking request for blankets rather than a duvet and provided us with both. We
