  The hotel is older but recently renovated and the facilities were very good. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. While the hotel is a little way from the city centre, it is only about a 10 minute walk away. There are some small restaurants close by but you need to explore a bit to find them. There is no lift, so if you are unable to walk up stairs or carry heavy bags up - Wonderful and helpful host. Charming vintage small French family-run hotel. Tastefully decorated with good quality fittings but still maintaining original style. Rooms well appointed and very comfortable bed with a duvet! Close to the beautiful and interesting City centre.

  This hotel was ideal for our purpose of a stopover on the way to the south of France. Breakfast was extremely good value for money and I would recommend this a there is nowhere else that is obvious and within a short walk. If you were using this hotel for a city break you would need to use your car or public transport.   The Manager, Mansour, was exceptional. We had had a rather difficult morning, and his very warm welcome and assistance turned that around to having a wonderful stay in Tours. For our 3 night stay, he willingly assisted with any requests we had. Was worth paying a few dollars more for the comfort double room with balcony.
