  It was perfect for our needs. Relaxed and friendly. Lovely location; even our non-lake-view (and therefore cheaper) room had a fine view. Close to pleasant lakeside 'beach' with subsidised/ free watersports. We enjoyed the pool, though it may be a little cool for softies. Good selection for the buffet breakfast.   I love this place. I first came here at the age of six. It has been in the hands of the same family ever since, though ownership is now being transferred to the staff, who are running it as a co-operative. And, if you like swimming, you won’t get better anywhere. Food varies from good to excellent - The hotel's setting with its grounds descending to the lake is sublime and a great place to retreat to. Simple furnished rooms with comfortable beds assured a good night's rest. The dining room has great views and features a triumphant hot drinks machine which strongly resembles a juke box, providing endless entertainment to bemused guests as it shakes and gurgles away merrily while preparing pretty good drinks.   Talloires is an excellent village for a 3-4 day stop close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and provided an excellent recommendation for hikes.The room had a great look over the Annecy lake. The resturant is great. - Locality near to Lake Annecy was excellent. A good hotel for visiting the magical town of Annecy.

  The room was comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Golf et Montagne provided a relaxing base 10km or so out of Annecy on the lake circuit for a cycle event being held. Terrace and parking was perfect for us. Good food available in Talloires a few km away.   Fantastic place! Large house from XVI century, beautifully restored and very special. Very nice hostess, helpful and welcoming. Our family suite with balcony to the garden was exellent. The location was ideal for us - in Menton-St. Bernard village, close to the lake and to the town Annecy, but very quiet and far from hordes of tourists. Highly rec... vad folk säger » ommended! - The art, the furniture, the fact that the building dated back to the 16th century and was tastefully renovated. Some of the furniture had added significance in that it was heirlooms from the owner's extended family. The owner was very helpful and suggested a fabulous local restaurant. Nice variety for breakfast.
