We stayed on our way back from a week in Spain and it was a perfect end to our holiday. We recieved a very warm welcome and excellent hospitality throughout our short stay. Both the dinner and breakfast were excellent with much of it home produced by Madame. Although our French is not very good both Mme and M Roufy were very patient and we were able to have some long conversations during the meal times which we enjoyed very much. We would highly recommend a visit for anyone wanting a genuine ex. alla recensioner »
It was one of the best experiences of us travelling through France.
The Evening Meal was an experience in itself, Food was 1st class and so were the Hosts. The Lady of the House worked extremely hard,
We can't wait to go back.
Breakfast included, very good value.
We received a wonderful warm welcome and were made to feel immediately at home. Amazing quirky rooms filled with the owners family antiques and the food was delicious. Breakfast with cakes baked by Lysian was a complete delight. This place is a hidden gem.
We absolutely loved it. So French and so welcoming. Fantastic meal in the most enchanting dining room with our very attentive hosts who made us feel so at home even though we could only speak 'petite' Francais! The en suite bathroom was a dream,.
This place was amazing - living history! It was like stepping back in
time. Antique furniture, lovely crockery and superb decor. Our evening
meal was delicious and our host and hostess were eager to please.
We loved our stay in this beautiful, historic home right by the river. The dinner they offer for extra cost was amazing with several delicious courses and wine. Our stay was very, very comfortable!.
It was just so 'French'; architecture, design, furnishings,
atmosphere. Personal service from the owners. Delicious food and
sympathetic conversation recognising our poor command of the language.
The owners were very friendly although they do not speak English and we did not speak French but we managed to communicate. the place is very pleasant and would recommend.
House was quirky and interesting. A vegetarian dinner was provided and was delicious and greatly appreciated after a long day travelling!.
Located in a typical small village beside a river in picturesque countryside; delightful traditional french hospitality.
The very friendly welcome, you were made to feel like a very special family visitor.
Really friendly owners Beautiful traditional French decor.
Nothing.
This place is perfection - so no complaints at all.
Little things didn't quite work as they might but this was part of
the charm of the place.
the windows did not keep the noise of the road out.
No one there when we arrived at 6pm. We had to wait an hour. A text could have been sent to let us know.
Nothing we didn't like.
Nothing.
Bit difficult to find Owners delightful but speak limited English.
