  A very helpful and friendly host assisted by two helpful four legged friends, Pluto the St Bernard and his sidekick Louis. We took our mini wire and he was treated as a part of the family and got on really well with Pluto. Our room on the ground floor was spacious and equipped with Suzettes antiques making the stay feel opulent and tasteful. The lovely and plentiful breakfast wa - We had a relaxing two night stay at Petit Manoir Meysset in November. Our host, Suzette, spoke French and our home language (Aussie) which meant we had plenty to discuss. We received an upgrade to a beautiful, big room that was very well appointed. Breakfast, which costs extra but is well worth the €7 each, was delicious and filling. The Dordogne region is amazing! It requires a much longer visit than we could manage. See area highlights below.   The staff that arranged the apartment was excellent. The whole process from checking in/out and arranging a taxi for us was awesome. Everyone there was friendly, organized and prepared. They all spoke English very well and never had a problem with the staff. The apartment it self was a country apartment, no frills or anything exciting. The towels and sheets are clean and soft. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery as well as functional and tasteful.   A great location and excellent value for money. A very rustic old town and is reflected in the rooms but we didnt expect more. A bit of a hotch- potch with regard to the bathroom . . . but cute, quirky decoration gave it character. Good Wi-Fi. Great help from the staff to get settled and recommended a good retaurant.   A terrific place to stay with ample room and every facility you needed. I caught up on much needed washing.The "house" was in a good position with a view of Sarlat township. The Manager is helpful and friendly. We managed to communicate with eachother even though my French was not great. We loved our stay here and will certainly stay here again next time. We have already recommend - The apartments are set with superb views of the surrounding area. The welcome and assistance from the staff was excellent although their English and my French is limited, but don't let that put you off. They used Google translate when they weren't sure! The apartments we stayed in were modern, spacious and clean. We had an excellent holiday in a very beautiful area of France. We read the comments about the walk to Sarlat, it took us about 20 minutes and yes you need a torch if you do the journe

Completely furnished kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, etc., flat screen TV, free wifi, washer/dryer combo, completely tiled modern bathroom, king-size bed. I've never seen such efficient use of space. Its located in an old stone building dating from the 1500's with cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance.   Liked everything about this place. We were touring France for 3 weeks and this was the best! Our room was in the 'chalet' at the bottom of the garden with it's own veranda, table and chairs. We were only 5 min walk from t - Comfortable room in your own little garden oasis. Even though it's extremely close to the city centre, you never feel that way as it's like a little haven away from the bustle of crowds and noise. Very accommodating and sweet hosts who were patient with my atrocious French and always ready to help.
