Very pleasant and helpful owner who makes one feel welcome. We upgraded to a room with a balcony which provided good value for the price. Local restaurants surprisingly good for this time of year when many are closed. Very charming little hotel. Owner was wonderful and every detail was taken care of. Flowers everywhere and great breakfast. Everything good re the hotel. However, Ile d'Oleron not a very exciting place in October. This was more than offset by the ease of hiring bikes and doing a beautiful 25 km ride.
