The location is perfect when you're travelling by car and if you are smart enough to deal with navigator there won't be any problem to find the place. A small hotel looks like your friends' countryhouse which makes it even more attractive and cozy. It is located not far from Seine river on a hill and the landscape around the place is quite picturesque. The host is very friendly and delicate. The interior is decorated with taste. If you were attentive enough to read about your room location and . alla recensioner »
It would be difficult to find words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay at La Barriere Fleurie, the graciousness of our hosts and the beauty of the property and surrounding area. Our hosts went out of their way to show us kindness and give us the assistance we needed while staying in an unfamiliar area. La Barriere Fleurie is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. We are planning on returning as soon as possible!!.
very nice, small hotel with friendly owners;
relaxing atmosphere;
spotless clean;
the spacious, bright room and comfortable beds;
design - well balanced combination of traditional style decoration in rooms with a modern (and high standard) bathroom equipment;
additional plus for the charming cosy garden - if I were a bird, I would never leave this place.
A beautiful property. Our excellently appointed upstairs room looked out over a lovely garden. Well positioned for the area's main tourist attraction Monet's House and Garden. Premises exquisitely decorated by host Pascal.
Everything. Excellent location for visiting Giverny. Both guys make you feel welcomed, give you helpful advice. Sparkling clean rooms, nice breakfast, very comfortable bed. Beautiful garden and views from the windows.
Beautifully decorated with such care and attention. It was a pleasure to stay in such a stylish home. Like a little oasis!
The hosts were attentive and friendly and their small dog was a delight.
Pascal and Marc were excellent hosts. A beautiful setting. There is nothing you can fault here we just loved it.
Would highly recommend it to all. Would definitely stay here again.
Daniel was our host (while proprietor was on "holiday"). He was wonderful (gracious, helpful, informative). Highly recommended.
Lovely garden and very helpful couple. On both nights they found and booked restaurants. Very clean.
Interesting features.
Great location in a quiet and pretty hilltop village, above the Seine.
Good size room, very cosy, bed very comfortable. Friendly host.
Friendly service. Quiet. Great breakfast.
Staff was friendly.
Nothing.
absolutely nothing to complain.
Lacking French speaking skills, we found it somewhat difficult to communicate.
Breakfast a little lacking when compared with other properties in which we stayed during our time in France.
Shoes having to be removed at front door.
Needs to be more emphasis on the fact that only cash payment is accepted.
If you are not willing to go outside the room (it means use outdoor stairs) to use a restroom and a shower, don't book the Double Room with Private External Bathroom. I made a mistake.
A little off the beaten track but we were reccommended a very good pizza restaurant a short drive away.
Nothing.
To be able to make own coffee would be good. Offer fruit for breakfast.
Limited extras - no drinking utensils .
The fact that we had to take our shoes off at the door and put on
slippers. I fell on the stairs because the slippers were much too big
and the stairs were very slick. I sustained a massive bruise on my arm
and leg. It was a miracle that I did not break any bones. We had to
leave our car outside the locked gate and our car was broken into during
the night. So have to wonder how safe the neighborhood is. Gisela
