  This was an exceptional experience in a house of character and luxury. The garden is a beautiful oasis of calm; our room was elegant with period furnishings and décor; superb bathroom with shower and bath; a large balcony on which to drink and take in the garden view. The tram/metro just down the road was a real bonus for getting in and out of - The couple who own the property could not have been more delightful, generous and helpful. Finding the place and then parking are not easy but if you make sure the owners know in advance they will organise it. The villa is 2 mins walk from the metro so access to city centre is easy. Room and facilities were beautifil and so peaceful!

  This Chambre D'hôtel is of the highest quality with excellent facilities. The room was a very generous size with an extremely comfortable bed with beautiful sheets and soft pillows. The bathroom was enormous and very well appointed. We had a delicious breakfast with more than enough food. They gave us a - I wouldn't know where to start with showing our gratitude. We absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem and cannot thank our hosts enough for their warmth and hospitality. Location wise it is a bit out of the city, but that was fine for us to be away for the noise- it is still walking distance to the centre though (about 20mins) and just opposite the tram so really no issues.   We enjoyed our two day stay at Le Jardin de Muriel very much. Jean-Jacques and Muriel were excellent hosts and joined us in the living room for several interesting conversations. Adding to the enjoyment was the beautiful garden at the front of the house and the excellent breakfast each morning. Hope to return some day. - Muriel and Jean Jacques were excellent hosts: they were so kind and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely with beautiful views over the garden. The breakfast was superb with home made preserves. Excellent evening dining was just a short walk away. We will definitely stay here again. I will be recommending Le Jardin de Muriel to all my friends who are visiting France.

  A really good stop-over hotel on our way to Dordogne. Would fully recommend a stay here and also do have the evening meal - a must!! Not at all expensive - 4 courses, including wine and all beautifully prepared. We did have a slight difficulty with the translation of the menu, so the lovely lady owner got out her lap-top and did 'translate'.
