  A convenient budget hotel on the way back to the UK, we were surprised by the very friendly staff running the place who even showed us to our room, demonstrating the TV and its English channels etc. Rooms were basic but comfortable and the location, in a 'zone commercial', quiet. The breakfast in this sort of hotel is normally pretty grim, but not... vad folk säger » so here. Cereals, good coffee, pastries, ham, cheeses, jams and baguette. There is a nearby 3 brasseurs bar restaurant serving great beer!! - This is a great value hotel - the cheapest in town. My room was a good size and well fitted out. Wifi was free and very fast. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. It's not a place you'd stay for several nights on holiday - it is on an industrial estate close to a supermarket - but it is a great place for a stopover on a long journey.

  Quiet surroundings, clean hotel, easy check-in machine (for those arriving outside reception working hours), nice continental breakfast (though my husband would have preferred to have some meat :)) - Typical 'no frills' budget motorway hotel. But clean and comfortable with good access to motorway and secure parking. Staff polite and helpful.

  This is a dog friendly hotel - it was 5 euro each for our two corgis. The location was excellent-we could see the castle from our window (room 5) which is about a block away. An easy walk. The rooms across the hall have a view of the lake. The room was clean and very romantic (French country style). All the rooms have a different design. Breakfast... vad folk säger » was small but good and is included in the price. Friendly staff. There is a hair dryer provided but if you need one bring your own since it doesn't g - Room was nice and had a view of the Castle. Staff was so so and only one individual spoke broken English. Morning breakfast was bread, jam, coffee.

  A delight. A little confusion about the booking at first, but quickly resolved. Impeccably clean. Every entertaining bit of gadgetry actually worked. The temperature coded lights in the shower head were particularly amusing. Efficient air con was particularly welcome on a humid summer night. Location ideal - just a stroll up the hill to the centre of this charming little town. - The hotel was good value for money with safe off road parking, as we used the hotel for a one night stop over it was an ideal location travelling from Italy, which left me with a short journey to the channel tunnel in the morning, the receptionist was very helpful & pleasant & recommended the restaurant next door for a meal, very nice & a 10% discount when you show your hotel bill, would like to go back and see more of the town.

  We are a band of three members who had just played a show in Paris and wanted to stay closer to the Eurotunnel to get back to England. The location was excellent for this, and the staff were SO helpful with the fact that we wanted to check in late. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. - Clean, friendly, good position near restaurants and shops. Ideal for visits to WW1 Battlefields. Very ample breakfast.
