  Room was excellent--large, modern, beautifully decorated--with an outstanding view across the vineyards off the deck of the room of the hill town & cathedral of Saint Cirq Lapopie. Without question, one of the five most delightful hotels I've stayed in in the 18 countries we've visited. - Great location with an awesome view. Nice large clean room. The grounds were well maintained and we made good use of the pool. Taking the hotel shuttle into town let me enjoy more than just a few glasses if wine with dinner. The hotel staff spoke and understood English. This made it really easy when checking in and out etc. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone passing through the area or making a special trip just to st cirq la popie.

  Excellent location - near the station for those travelling by train, and for those with a car, parking facilities are available either in the hotel car park or close by. The decor is lovely - an old style hotel but beautifully maintained. The staff was very helpful and made us feel welcome. The hotel is almost opposite the train station so is very convenient. The hotel has heaps of character including lead light windows and oak floors. The restaurant has an excellent reputation.

  We stayed 3 nights at the hotel.The hotel was renovated, the room are nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good for the price. The stuff was helpful - Very friendly and helpful. Rooms equipped to a very high standard. Spotlessly clean.

  A sensational stable conversion. Stunning decor, la porcelaine (our room) was beautiful. Breakfast in the downstairs conversion was excellent and the surroundings just lovely.   The food was the best we'd experienced in the whole of our 10 days french trip. Their Gourmet set menu was fantastic and quality of food excellent, value too. We chose the hotel for convenience of motorway link south and did not expect the food we got for the standard of accommodation.   I went for my 50th birthday treat. The Madame who owned the hotel was so welcoming and arranged flowers/bouquet in my suite after an e-mail form one of my sons, I felt very spoilt on my birthday, at dinner where one of the waiters presented me with a lovely rose from the garden. Our room was up a spiral staircase so no problem for us. Wif-i, showers, fridges etc yet in a medieval castle. It was so lovely. We were overlooking the river in a beautiful room. We ate from the Gourmet menu which was really good and no more expensive than similar menus the next evening in Sarlat. The village was really lovely too.
