From the first welcome coffee to the warm, friendly farewell, we felt pampered in luxury surroundings and refreshingly spacious gardens. The Residence is close to the bakery, canal and small supermarket and the short walk to each is enjoyable. Further afield, are historic Verdun and the battlefield memorials of WW1. The proprietor of The Residence can assist with tourist information as well as being fluent in French, English, Dutch and German.

A beautiful apartment with artistic details. Slept very well. Metz is a great city to visit. You can put the car in the courtyard at 5 euros per day. There is everything from towels and sheets. Even kitchen has a minimum requirement as coffee and sugar etc. -

once we got to the hotel everything was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. They had come to find us, as we had got hopelessly lost!
