  Chez Bear is faultless! The key word here is relaxation! Mike is the perfect host and does everything possible to make you feel at home, in his calm, friendly manner. Helen, his charming partner, prepares the most delicious and beautifully presented food in extremely cosy and comfortable surroundings that quietly exude understated class. The super cool resident cat Dexter is lucky to be able live he all year round! - This place is truly beautiful set in the mountains. Mike and Helen are great hosts, very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem. We were welcomed with with a warm smile and made to feel right at home. Mike made us a hot tea delivered with biscuits real treat after a long day's drive. Helen's dinner was fantastic, we would definitely have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

  The staff were outstandingly friendly, spoke good english and went out of their way to help. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels - the setting was lovely.   Host really kind with patience and kindness and service is perfect too. The breakfast is just good as imagined. As there were not much guests upon our arrival, the spa and sauna is quite good for limited number of persons. We could get all suggestions and advices for shops and restaurants nearby. Have to try that next time! - The staff were very friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast was ok but as we arrived quite late at night for an en route stopover we didn't experience much of what the hotel had to offer.

  We found the the staff super friendly. We enjoyed a steak and homemade chips one lunch at the (new) pool and then sunbathed in the garden. What wonderful views! We ate at the hotel both nights, enjoying the half board menu which represented great value and excellent quality when compared to the local restaurants.
