  This was our 2nd stay in the Hotel. We absolutely loved it. Food was wonderful and rooms Excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel location is excellent, quite area with nice view and only 5 min walking to the center. You have to take aside 3 Star of hotel as it is based on old French system. Note that the Hotel is managed by the owner who is no - Has everything for the mountain biker. Secure storage for bikes. Shoe dryer, bikewash facilities. Only 100metres to the cable car main station. Same to restaurants shops etc.Room modern ,clean and comfortable.

  The Nagano is a really comfortable friendly warm and welcoming hotel.   Very friendly and accomodating staff - nothing was too much trouble. Room was very comfortable and clean, warm, great shower. I stayed with my two sons for a short ski trip. Breakfast was very good for a two-star hotel and kept us going until a late lunch each day.   The restaurant was one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of eating in! Helpful and friendly staff. Modern comfortable and clean fresh room with superb views. Ski in and out (if you turn left out of hotel) - Room in the lodge part of hotel very good with own small pool, sauna and hammam. Good breakfast selection. Friendly but reserved staff.
